The U.S. Census Bureau has requested several operational changes from Congress, such as an additional extension on the self-response period deadline.
More time to protect our people AND ensure they count.
To protect the health and safety of Arkansas residents, implement guidance to address the global COVID-19 pandemic, and ensure Arkansans count, the U.S. Census Bureau has requested Congress permit an extension of the self-response deadline for participation in the census to October 31, 2020.
Although we will likely have more time, we must still ensure we Get Out the Count. Let’s continue to reach out to 20 family members, friends, and fellow Arkansans and let them know they can participate in the 2020 U.S. Census online at My2020Census.Gov or by completing and mailing back the form Arkansans receive this week.
